Sonic Edwards has been performing for over 20 years in styles as diverse as Jazz, Rock and Country and many more. He works as a session musician for a long list of artists such as Tania Kernaghan, The Dungarees (CAN) and Luke Dickens (Australian Idol runner up, Star Maker winner). He is Musical Director for winner of The Voice 2017, Judah Kelly and is a regular in the bands of Country Artists, Drew McAlister and Brooke Schubert.

Sonic studied Jazz Advanced Diploma of Music and Vocational Graduate Diploma of Multi Instrumental Pedagogy at JMI. He is also an experienced clinician.

Sonic has worked as Head of Jazz Bass Studies at JMI, Bass Tutor at Allans Billy Hyde and later, Instrumental Bass and Guitar Teacher at John Paul College (current).
